The client wanted a logo and brand identity for Tomo House that reflects authentic Japanese matcha culture while appealing to a modern aesthetic. They envisioned a thoughtful design that communicates warmth and connection.

Our Approach

  • Built a brand positioning that balanced tradition with modern appeal. Postitioned Tomo House as a brand that feels rooted in authentic Japanese culture while remaining relevant to a contemporary Singapore audience. Core brand personality was built around warmth, connection, and the idea of a welcoming “friend house".
  • Crafted a logo with a minimalist, earthy aesthetic, integrating a subtle yet meaningful design element where the “u” forms a matcha cup. This thoughtful detail brought together product and purpose, symbolising community, gathering, and the brand’s essence.

The Impact

Repositioned Tomo House brand to reflect simplicity and authenticity, using warm, inviting language highlighting connection and tradition. The positioning reinforced the idea of Tomo House as a space to slow down, share, and enjoy matcha together, at every touch point.
